Today was my niece's prom. My sister in law invited me to the send off. My brother died in 2018.

As we were watching my niece, the baby of the crew, my sister in law looked at me and said she couldn't take it. I asked what’s wrong…And she reminded me that my brother should be there….To send the baby off, to watch his children grow into adults, to love on her, to love on them, to love on us…

We both went our separate ways and cried the tears of the broken hearted and grieving 🥺

My brother passed away in 2018. His babies were babies…I still miss him, but to see his widow trying to continue on, reminds me that…

GRIEF IS EVER LASTING (And I will be okay)

I love my sister in law for being an amazing mother and never giving up…and continuing to love my brother, even in his absence from the flesh.
