My mama

For the first time since time memorial, I went on a solo trip with my mama.

I booked a cruise to Alaska to celebrate the 25th wedding anniversary of Darryl and I.

It was one of the best trips I've ever had. My mama and I had the opportunity to bond and enjoy each other's company. My soul needed a trip like that.

She is funny as all get out. I don’t think she has ever met at stranger and she knows how to party!

I am glad that I have grown and matured enough to recognize how great of a mother I had. I am glad we are both still around to love and appreciate on another.
