Learning some new things

I am a perfectionist and always on the go. I like to learn new things and challenge myself.

Lately, I have slowed down and learned new things…and I like it.

I often fill up my calendar with things to do. Quite honestly, I feel stagnant because there weren’t any fires to fight.

But October was one of the busiest months of this year for me. This month we had the most books sales to date on my client’s poetry books ~ YAY!

This month I had two back-to-back audits at my facility. It was…a lot. There are quite a few challenges, and I believe this will be a great learning opportunity to help with my future plans.

I also tried something outside of my ordinary realm of knowledge. I had to review other people’s submissions. I had to evaluate and assess how well they met a set criteria.

Ultimately, I think October has given me tools that will help my long-term consulting goal. I am excited about the future and building my toolbox with new items.

I am learning to be still and not operate in chaos. I am learning to go slowing and take it all in.

It’s funny how God puts you in the places you need to be, when you need to be there. I am blessed and I am grateful.
