Pivoting

I’m still working on my 50 Days of Fun / Family.

Whoa…when I decided to honor my birthday travel tradition for DT, I chose to do 50 days of fun. Along the way, I changed it to include Family.

Baby, it’s been a ride and we aren’t even halfway through the year!

I realized 50 is a lot, but worth it…like me!

I didn’t and still don’t have all 50 days planned out. I’ve had to pivot on some trips. In the last week, I added the family portion. In the last two weeks I lost two family members. My cousin and my best friend's mother…

I had to pivot and change plans to support. I am glad I was able to. I haven’t always been able to, but when I can I will.

We only get so much time here. I want to make sure that people I love know that I love them. I want to spend more days being happy and having fun. I want to spend as much time with the people I love.

Day 23 was supposed to be attending the NFL Draft. I missed it, but I was there for my friend ❤️‍🩹

It’s not the destination, it’s the journey.

A journey is best measured in friends and family rather than in miles 💖
