Good nights

Night time🌙 is usually the time when we are stuck with our thoughts. Sometimes we replay the events of the day, sometimes we plan the events of tomorrow, but most times our brains are racing all over the place.

Nights are usually when I overwhelmed myself with negative thoughts.

I used to try to say a prayer to stop these thoughts, but the negativity always won. Now I’ve learned to center myself and clear my mind.

Here’s my routine:

The Lord's Prayer

Gratitude prayer

Breathing and positive thoughts

Sometimes I have to reset my breathing several times to ward off the chaos in my mind.

I’ve learned that even when I get down on myself, to pick myself up and concentrate on the good.

I am still on this journey, but my nights aren’t as dreadful and depressing as they used to be
