As my children have gotten older and started their own lives, I am less and less enthused about the holidays. Thanksgiving has always been a sore spot for me due to the nature of what REALLY happened in this country.

However, I am using this time to reflect and give thanks to the Universe / God for the blessings that I am a constant recipient of.

I thank you for good health

I thank you for a sound mind

I thank you for financial stability

I thank you for my children

I thank you for peace

I thank you for love

I thank you for family

I thank you for friends

I thank you for smiles when I am in a dark place

I thank you for allowing my husband to be with me another holiday season

I thank you for giving me vision to see how blessed I really am

And I thank you for the opportunity to continue to be a blessing to others :)
