Cleansing

I have always been the giver. As the eldest child, I thought it was my job.

Fun fact. It is not my job to give more than I receive. I am cleansing my life of takers.

It is my revolution. At 50, I owe myself a lesson on saying “No”.

I No longer give to those who do not reciprocate.

I No longer do things out of obligation.

I No longer go with the flow.

I No longer help those who never help me.

I No longer burden myself with others feelings.

I No longer am the Bank of Meka.

I No longer hold on to so-called family, just because of our lineage.

I No longer care about saving the world.

I am saving my world and the people I love.

No hard feelings, just stay away from me…
