Relief is defined as a feeling of reassurance and relaxation following release from anxiety or distress.

Or

a temporary break in a generally tense or tedious situation

I have been feeling as if I am in mourning. Yet there is nothing to mourn. My situation is sometimes overwhelmingly stressful and I have been mourning as a coping method. Yet there is noone to mourn. It makes me feel incredibly terrible and guilty.

I am looking for relief from the stress. Trying to find a way to find a victory in this situation. I’ve tried multiple coping situations but sometimes nothing gives me release from the feelings.

My coach said I need to hit something. I need to do something hard to prove to myself that I can win, that I am stronger than what I think, and that I can handle something that feels insurmountable. Hit something…climb a hill that hurts, hit a boxing bag, kick a boxing bag, run up hill…do something hard…to find a release of all this rage…to find relief💜
