I received wind chimes as a sympathy gift. My grief delayed me hanging them. When I did I placed them on the deck below my bedroom window.

The random chiming in the background makes me feel like Darryl is talking to me…coasting me through this new life…the wind blows and I hear him saying “I don’t want you guys to do all that crying. I’ve done everything I wanted to do. I am at peace.” The beautiful songs that they create remind me that even in bad conditions there is beauty to be found.

The harmonious sound of the wind chimes gives me so much peace. They have literally lulled me to sleep. It also calms my spirit and quiets my mind. It's funny the things that we can find peace in. Who knew?
