My grandmother always told me to learn something new every day…these past two weeks I’ve learned 3 words that I hope I never have to use again in life.

Sepsis - a serious condition resulting from the presence of harmful microorganisms in the blood or other tissues and the body’s response to their presence, potentially leading to the malfunctioning of various organs, shock, and death.

Palliative care - caregiving approach aimed at optimizing quality of life and mitigating suffering among people with serious, complex, and often terminal illnesses.

Chronic illness polyneuropathy - the simultaneous malfunction of many peripheral nerves throughout the body.
