Never Easy

After 41 days in the hospital and rehabilitation facility my husband was preparing to come home.

He was excited and cooperative with the staff. It is not the norm and his staff notes have quite a few “refuse meds". Welp he took all his meds. Bad move. His BP dropped so low the nurse was panicking. We had an emergency call with the doctor and EMS was called. Stat.

The whole time my husband calmly told everyone he shouldn’t have taken XXX pill and his BP would come back up once he drank some water and waited awhile. At first, his calmness made me calm. But as more and more people gathered worried, I started panicking as well. He recovered by the time they made it to the ER.

Fast forward to being home 3 months. Same issues, but overall he’s kicking tail💪🏾 He’s out of physical therapy. His hip doesn't give him many problems, and he’s walking a little ways with no assistance.

We went to see the transplant team and have a follow up meeting.🙌🏾

Life is never easy. Don’t give up, stay hopeful, stay strong…you are in my prayers🙏🏾💜
