What has kept me laughing and smiling through my rough patches are the genuine friendships that I have developed. Sleepless nights and restless days, I find a laugh in quick-witted banter from friends that understand and appreciate my sense of humor and respect my boundaries. I’ve literally turned tears into laughs from text messages.
