This journey is taking me through a lot. I feeling like I am searching but I don’t know what I am searching for.

At first I was still operating as if Darryl was returning. I had to learn that I can do things and only have to worry about me. I think this is the most difficult and heartbreaking part of my healing. Realizing that he isn’t coming back and I have to build and continue my life without him.

Imagine building an entire life for two and then having to change course midway and do it alone. Most days I feel lost.

The good news is that I am getting the strength to try new things and move in my own direction. I am relearning who I am.
