This life isn’t easy. We are all fighting our own demons. As a mother I vowed to protect my daughters at all cost. Not all mother’s share my sentiments. I wish I could offer this kind of unconditional love to all daughters. A mother should be your safe haven. Your quiet in the storm. Your sounding board. A mother love’s should calm the confusion in your mind, if only for a moment.

I wish I could be your umbrella to protect you from the hardships of this world. I wish all your pain could bounce off of you and be mine’s to carry. I don’t ever want you to feel I am not with you.

Even as a mother steps to the other realm of this world, her love is always there to comfort you.

Yesterday, a daughter left this world. It wasn’t my daughter, but my heart weeps as if I failed as a mother.

Yesterday, a mother left a daughter alone in this world. It wasn’t my mother, but my heart weeps as I understand the void that can never be filled.

Today my heart hurts a tremendous pain that feels unbearable. I know that not all pain last forever. I will take this time to breathe and feel this…and cherish the GOOD times…The memories…and to remember that we are all apart of some mother’s legacy…it is our job to keep that legacy alive and share it with others.

May my daughters know that they are my love and legacy…and I live for them
